Projects Funded Projects that support the protection, enhancement, and maintenance of L.A. neighborhood parks, open spaces, trails, beaches, natural habitats, rivers, streams, and the urban tree canopy. The measure prioritizes parks that reduce the urban heat island effect, especially in "heavily urbanized, tree-poor areas.”

Projects Funded Funds multi benefit projects with a focus on extreme heat, environmental, economic, and social benefits for urban public school campuses and eligible child care facilities, with an emphasis on facilities in need of educational resources.

Sustainable Environment Enhancement Developments for Schools

Administrator L.A. Unified School District (LAUSD)

Common Grantees Schools

Projects Funded Funds projects that enhance and/or create outdoor, healthy, and sustainable learning environments that support LAUSD's curriculum. Schools that apply to the SEEDS program are eligible to receive up to a maximum of $100,000 for design, infrastructure improvements, and installation of landscaping materials for their project.
