Invite collaborators
You can invite others to co-design a project or add observations to the map by inviting them to collaborate on your sketch.
With your sketch open, click Share in the upper right-hand corner. Or, from the Home screen, click the ••• icon in your sketch card and then select Share.
Enter the email address of your collaborator and click Invite. Add a comma between email addresses to invite up to 25 collaborators at once.
Click the arrow at right to select whether your collaborator receives full Admin or limited Editor permissions. Learn more about permissions.
Your collaborator(s) will now receive an email invite. When they accept the invite, they will be prompted to sign up or log in to access the sketch.
If a collaborator has not accepted your invitation, their email will appear grey in the People with access list. Select Resend to send them a new invitation.
Changing collaborators permissions
To update a collaborator’s permissions, select the ⌄ icon beside their email address and determine their access level from the dropdown. Find out more about permissions.
If you have admin access to the sketch, select Remove to revoke a collaborator’s access to the sketch.
Invite people using the public link
You can invite Contributors and Viewers to a sketch by sharing a public link.
With your sketch open, click the Share button in the upper right-hand corner. Or, from the Home screen, click the ••• icon in your sketch card and then Share.
Toggle the public link at right to On to enable link sharing.
To determine permissions for collaborators accessing the sketch via the public link, click Anyone with a public link and select Can contribute or View Only. Learn more about permissions.
Click Copy link and share directly with your community.
Note: When contributors access this link, the map will zoom in to your content. If you do not have any content yet, consider creating a site before sharing.
