Remedies are infrastructure solutions you can add to your site to create a design proposal. When you add remedies to a site, you will see the estimated benefits and costs update in your site profile.
Adding remedies to your site
To add remedies to your site:
Create or click into a site
Click the Remedies icon in the top-left tray
Browse and search for remedies in the lefthand palette
Click and drag a remedy sticker onto the map
When you hover over a remedy in the palette, a popover will appear outlining the remedy's description, costs, and a sample of benefits. Click Learn More to view more details in the remedy's guidebook article.
To see the site ground conditions more clearly while adding observations, consider using the satellite view.
Reviewing and editing remedies
When you click on a remedy sticker on the map, you will see a context menu with the following options:
Learn: Open the remedy's guidebook article.
Notes: Add or edit an annotation, which will appear in the site export.
Duplicate: Duplicate the remedy. Remedies can also be duplicated by holding the
option
key on Mac oralt
key on Windows while clicking and dragging on the remedy sticker.Delete: Delete the remedy.
To edit a remedy’s footprint:
Zoom in close enough for the footprint to appear behind the sticker, or hide remedies in the visibility menu
Click the footprint value or double-click the footprint shape
If the footprint is editable, you can change the footprint to any shape or size. If the remedy has a fixed size, you can only rotate the footprint.
Click Save
The benefits and costs of the remedy will scale linearly with the footprint
In certain cases, the tool will warn you about how you have placed your remedies:
If the remedies added exceed the site's footprint
If you have placed remedy stickers outside of the site. Note that any remedies placed outside the site will not count towards your benefits and costs and will not appear in your sketch export.
